The RATSAK Electronic Mouse Trap offers a highly effective and humane way to control mice in your home or business. Its advanced smart circuit technology detects when a mouse enters the trap, while a specially designed tunnel prevents escape. Once inside, the circuit delivers a high-voltage shock, killing the mouse quickly and efficiently.
Key Features:
- 100% kill rate – Delivers a fast, humane termination.
- Removable kill chamber – Makes baiting, cleaning, and disposal easier.
- No-touch disposal – Allows for hygienic removal of rodents.
- Unique tunnel design – Prevents mice from backing out once inside.
- Reusable and cost-effective – Kills up to 100 mice per 4 AA batteries.*
- LED monitoring light – Flashes green when a mouse is caught; red indicates battery replacement.
- Recommended use – Ideal for areas such as the laundry, roof cavities, sheds, and kitchens.
How to Use
Trap Setup Instructions
- Switch the trap OFF and remove batteries.
- Open the kill chamber and apply a pea-sized amount of peanut butter or hazelnut spread in the bait cup only. Use gloves or a tool to avoid transferring human scent. Avoid contact between bait and metal parts.
- Insert 4 AA batteries.
- Place the trap on a clean, dry surface along a wall, with the entrance side facing the wall. Turn the trap ON. A green light will flash once, and the unit will emit a short buzz to indicate activation.
- Monitor the LED light:
- Flashing green: A mouse has been caught (flashes for up to one week).
- Flashing red: Batteries need replacing.
- For disposal, switch the trap OFF, remove the batteries, and take out the kill chamber. Open the chamber door and dispose of the rodent. Clean the unit if needed.
Cleaning Instructions
Only clean when debris remains on the shock plates.
- Switch the trap OFF and disassemble by separating the kill chamber from the electronics housing.
- Open the kill chamber and clean with a soft brush and warm water. Hydrogen peroxide may be used. Do not get water on the electronics housing.
- Dry the kill chamber thoroughly before reassembly.
- Reconnect the kill chamber to the electronic housing and ensure all parts are dry.
- The trap is now ready for reuse. Follow the setup instructions to rearm the trap.
Rodent Control Tips
- Eliminate alternative food sources where possible.
- Store food in sealed containers.
- Use gloves when handling traps to avoid human scent.
