Wattyl Clear Lacquer produces tarnish resistant & tough finish on Copper and Copper Alloys in both interior and exterior applications.

- The Clear Lacquer Finish (Incralac) formula was developed by the International Copper Research Association in the U.S.A. It gives a tough clear coating to Copper, Brass and other alloys and metals .
Surface Preparation: A clean surface is important! Polish surface with a conventional metal polish. Wash in warm soapy water to remove residue – use nailbrush for hard-to-clean areas. Wash soap off in clean hot water and dry thoroughly. Do not handle surface after washing.
Spray: Adjust the nozzle in the front for the desired spread or spray pattern and spray while keeping can about 25cm (10″) from surface at all times. DO NOT let the spray stop moving while it’s aimed at the surface. DON’T aim at the surface and then press the spray button.
Apply one light coat and allow a few minutes to dry. Then follow with 3 or 4 added coats. Do not spray when surface temperature is below 10 degree Celsius or in humid conditions.
To clear the nozzle: After use, turn the can upside down and press the button until only clear gas escapes. If you do not, the nozzle will clog. If you forget, clear the jet with fine wire.
Dry time: Under normal conditions (20 degree C, 50% humidity) Wattyl Clear Lacquer Finish, can be recoated in 10 minutes.
Coverage: Contents cover approximately 2 square metres.
Clean up: Use mineral Turps.
PROVIDE ADEQUATE VENTILATION DURING USE.
