Rich in potassium, it is ideal for roses, flowers, tomatoes, citrus and other fruiting plants. Yates Fruit and Flower Booster is an easy to use liquid. It delivers potassium in a format that is easy for plants to absorb and can be applied to both the soil as well as the foliage, delivering fast results.

Directions for Use:

  • Application - improve flowering and fruiting or alleviate potassium deficiency of plants grown on sandy soils.
  • Foliar Spray Method - Recommended spray to lightly wet the leaves before runoff
  • Rate - Mix 15ml in 1L of water. Apply with garden sprayer.
  • Frequency - Every 2 - 4 weeks
  • Timing - Apply 1 - 2 times before flowering, Reapply from fruit set up to 1 week before harvest. To alleviate deficiency, apply regularly from early in the growing season.
  • Area - 1L / 15m2 depending on size of plant canopy.
  • Application - improve flowering and fruiting or alleviate potassium deficiency of plants grown on sandy soils.
  • Soil Drench Method – Apply to moist soil around plant.
  • Rate – Mix 10 – 20ml in 5L water. Apply with watering can.
  • Frequency – Every 2 – 4 weeks.
  • Timing – Apply when first flower buds appear. Reapply during flowering and fruiting period. To alleviate deficiency, apply regularly from early in the growing season.
  • Area – 5L / 5m2
  • Apply as directed for improved flowering and fruiting. To alleviate deficiency, reassess plant symptoms every few weeks to decide if further applications are necessary. Begin treatment as soon as symptoms become visible or early in the growing season if a deficiency is known to exist (eg vegetables grown on sandy soils, such as zucchini). It is best to apply many smaller amounts rather than a single large amount.

Storage:

  • Store in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Precautions:

  • Do not swallow. The spray from this product may act as an irritant. Avoid inhalation and contact with the eyes and skin. Wear appropriate skin and eye protection when mixing and applying product. Wash hands and affected parts on contact.
  • DO NOT over apply spray leading to run off. Always apply to moist soil. Do not apply when maximum temperature is expected to reach above 25°C or if the plant is suffering moisture stress. Apply during early morning or late afternoon when evaporation will be less.
